NO Adult Discussion this Sunday at 9:00 AM in Schilke Hall
Adult Discussion will not meet this Sunday, November 8th. We will resume our study of "Reading the Bible with Bonhoeffer" on November 15th.
We will be continuing with the video study "Reading the Bible with Bonhoeffer" by James C. Howell.
Dietrich Bonhoeffer was a lifelong reader of Scripture whose engagement with the Bible shaped his identity, guided his pastoral work, and sustained his resistance to Nazi tyranny.
James C. Howell highlights how Bonhoeffer's close reading of Scripture became God's call during turbulent times, and a bold awareness that his life belonged to God, even in the face of uncertainty, suffering, and evil.
